creating a social network / self sustaining community on our website is an anti-goal without a community manager, and that person should have the freedom to figure out where to spend their time. I suspect there are bigger priorities, such as Reddit etc.
however… a content hub page that feels a little like a newsfeed could be a cool idea. perhaps we could play around this concept alongside the idea we talked about creating an alternative website “default homepage” for existing users? I think this is kind of what you’re driving at anyway, I just think the “social network” is the wrong framing.
happy to team to kick around concepts around this. happy to meet up some time to do so as I think this has potential and I’d love to solve the “making content on the website cool" problem.
