Have you considered parallelizing CH and MLD runs instead? In scripts/cucumber_test_matrix.sh and scripts/ci/run_benchmarks.sh |

Issue
Debug builds are taking hours and clogging up the CI. We can think about restoring then after #7309 is merged.
