Welcome to the UnturnedServerManager wiki!

First of all, let's get the requirements (again) out of the way:

  • .Net 4.5 or later
  • Windows
  • Unturned installed

Once you've made sure that all those requirements are met, please run the program.

The interface

The interface is as simple as it looks. On the top left corner you have a drop down menu to select amount of servers that you want to run. Please bear in mind that a default server is ~200,000 ram, so if you have less than 1 GB free of ram, you SHOULDN'T host many servers as your players will lag and your computer will most likely overheat if you don't have proper cooling either.

Moving on to the next part, on the top right you have a text box for you to put the location of the executable (bear in mind that you MUST NOT include "Unturned.exe" in the location link).

Next we have multiple buttons that allow you to go with the common launch options for a server (like -NoGraphics -BatchMode and +SecureServer or +InsecureServer), right below the common options you have the server "name", which is just the name of the folder for local and management purposes.

Last we have a button for advanced options. The advanced options are the commands that run on server startup. I'll talk about them on the following section.

Advanced Options

Server Name: This is the public name that your server will get once it's started. Max length of server name is 50 characters. Minimum is 5.

Server Port: This is the port people will have to use to connect to your server. For port-forwarding and allowing connections to your server, forward the 2 ports right after the one selected. Example: I select port 27015 as the one people use to connect, I have to port-forward ports 27016 and 27017.

PvP: Enables/Disables Player versus Player combat.

Perspective: Allows you to set First Person only view or Both first person and third person (Side note: Third person only seems to be bugged with unturned, once Nelson fixes this, i'll add that extra option there).

Max Players: Straight forward. Allows you to set maximum amount of players that can join your server. Any number over 25 removes your server from the player list (Nelson did that).

Server Map: The map to run on your servers. You need the correct name, unless you already know it.

Difficulty: Server difficulty. Only options that will work: Easy, Normal, Hard and Gold.

Cheats: Enables/Disables default vanilla commands (not needed if rocket is installed).

Password: Adds a password to your server to make it private.

Queue Size: Sets size for the queue for joining your server (Side note: Minimum size MUST BE 1. Any lower will RESTRICT completely access to your server).

Owner: Sets global and permanent admin to a player by using their Steam64ID.

Login Message: Straight forward. A message once you log in. For custom colors, just add then in RGB at the end (example: blah/255/40/150)

Sync: This is an old 2.0 feature, but it seems to have been re-added on 3.0. I'll make sure soon that it works like it did back in 2.0. In a nutshell, it allows players to use their offline items from single-player in your own server too.

Loadout: Items given on each re-spawn. You MUST use ids and in the format id/id/id. Example: 4/7/1 (Can be as long as you want as far as I know).

Hide Admins: Hides or shows admin status from admins to other players and chat.

Bind (IP): Binds the server to a specific IP. Recommended to stay on 0.0.0.0.

Filter: Old name filter (No clue exactly what it does).

Cycle: Sets (in seconds) the time that an in-game day lasts in real life time.

Chat Rate: Unturned's default anti-spam. It's set in seconds. Default: 0

Few Other Remarks

The shutdown and restart button CLOSE ALL current processes and servers running with the name "unturned", so don't press any of those buttons unless you know that nothing not important will close.

Ease of install of updates, rocket, workshop items and plugins is not yet implemented, BUT it's the FIRST feature I will add it later on.
