Putting the R in ArcGIS

The ArcGIS Ecosystem and Python are deeply integrated but Python isn't the only language that spatial data scientists use. The R language has a deep and rich ecosystem for statistics and spatial analysis. Using the suite of R packages in the R-ArcGIS Bridge proejct, R can be integrated directly into the ArcGIS system--no downloading of shapefiles or exporting to a shared network drive, necessary!

In this session we cover what the R-ArcGIS Bridge is and review its functionality from reading, writing, and updating feature services to working with Survey123 attachments, and even reverse geocoding addresses from locations!

This repository contains the R scripts and slides used for the session.
