This application will provide fast food restaurants with a simple self-service kiosk for customers to place their own orders.
By utilizing this software, the business will be able reduce front of house labor costs significantly, leaving them with the resources to develop new food and create a hospitable environment for the customers and staff.
The user interface will consist of a screen consisting of six buttons that with representing the different food choices available.
The right side of the POS will consist of an itemized list of food items ordered along with the prices of each food item.
Lastly, the bottom of the screen will have a button for the user to checkout which will close the platform and display the total price of the order including sales tax by reading the txt file produced by the program.
