SPS Lab Beamer Template (Metropolis)

LaTeX Beamer presentation template for Sustainable Power Systems Lab (SPS Lab), Cyprus University of Technology.

This template is designed for fast slide drafting with the Metropolis theme and a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Overleaf Quick Start

  1. Create a new Overleaf project (Blank Project).
  2. Upload all files and folders from this template.
  3. Set presentation.tex as the main file (if not already detected).
  4. Compile with pdfLaTeX.

Project Structure

  • presentation.tex: Main presentation source.
  • graphics/: Place your figures, plots, and exported visuals.
  • logos/: SPS Lab and partner logos, plus cover image assets.

How To Use

  1. Edit title metadata in presentation.tex:
    • \title{...}
    • \subtitle{...}
    • \author{...}
    • \date{...}
  2. Replace section/frame placeholders with your content.
  3. Replace placeholder images with your own visuals in graphics/.
  4. Keep logo and cover assets aligned with your project branding and dissemination requirements.

Suggested Overleaf Settings

  • Compiler: pdfLaTeX
  • TeX Live: latest available
  • Main document: presentation.tex

Acknowledgments

  • Built on LaTeX Beamer with the Metropolis theme.
  • Prepared for SPS Lab presentation workflows and dissemination activities.

If your work is funded (e.g., EU or national projects), add the required funding acknowledgment text and logos according to your project communication guidelines.

Notes

  • Check that all external links and contact details are up to date before sharing.
  • Verify logo usage permissions when adding partner or third-party branding.
  • For final delivery, recompile once after clearing temporary files in Overleaf if cross-references appear outdated.
