this models the version switch we have for OpenAPI documents because we're getting ready to publish a version 1.1.
I also added the patterned names since it'll be a convention starting with 1.1 and many people are already following that convention today.
Whenever 1.1 comes out, I'll revert here to update the schemas with another PR.
