Title: Analyzing IPL Data: Teams, Matches, Bidders, and Performance Metrics.
Business Objective: To gain insights and trends from IPL data, including team standings, match results, bidder performance, and player statistics.
Approach:
- Analyze bidder performance by calculating the percentage of wins for each bidder and order them from highest to lowest.
- Determine the number of matches conducted at each stadium, along with the stadium name and city.
- Calculate the percentage of wins for teams that won the toss in a given stadium.
- Display the total number of bids along with the bidding team and team name.
- Identify the team ID that won the match based on the win details.
- Show the total matches played, total matches won, and total matches lost by each team along with their team name.
- Display the bowlers for the Mumbai Indians team.
- Find the teams with more than four all-rounders in descending order of all-rounders count.
- Calculate the total bidders' points for each bidding status for bidders who bid on CSK when it won the match in M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, year-wise.
- Extract the bowlers and all-rounders with the five highest number of wickets without using joins.
- Calculate the percentage of toss wins for each bidder and display the results in descending order based on the percentage.
- Find the IPL season with the minimum and maximum duration.
- Calculate the total points month-wise for the 2017 bidding year and sort the results based on total points in descending order and month-wise in ascending order.
- Get the top 3 and bottom 3 bidders based on the total bidding points for the 2018 bidding year.
