Hi! This is awesome! In addition to this nice reimplementation of the original Lode Runner game, you've found a lot of level sets from its various incarnations.

I used to play the old Macintosh version, and there's one set of homemade levels that I know of that weren't in your collection, so I've converted them into your format, so they can be added.

This is Stephen Linhart's current website: https://www.stephen.com/ (I have not contacted him.)

These levels can be found in two places on the web:

A scenario for the original Lode Runner

30 very tough and interesting levels for Lode Runner.
Most of these levels are very intellectual. Some may
seem to be impossible, but they have all been done by
two or more people. Many of them require a different
strategy the second time around (levels 31 to 60).
These levels were created by Stephen Linhart and Doug
Hewitt. Have fun!

(I don't know where "levels 31 to 60" are. I only found 30 levels in the file, after un-binhexing, decompressing, loading it on vMac, copying it off, and converting the 4-bit nibbles into ASCII characters...)

If I could find the levels I wrote 40 years ago (difficulty: ★★), I'd send them, too. But I never managed to get them off the original floppy disk, probably because of copy-protection gone awry. It's too bad: I made lots of levels!
