Replaced the two-word forms "lower case" and "upper case" with the single-word forms "lowercase" and "uppercase" throughout markdown documentation. Code blocks were preserved unchanged.

Changes

"lower case" → "lowercase"

  • 11 files modified: 12 total replacements across content files, tables, and headings
  • 1 occurrence preserved: C# code comment in develop/devguide/Connector/AdvancedCodePages.md

"upper case" → "uppercase"

  • 8 files modified: 9 total replacements across content files, tables, headings, and instructions
  • No occurrences preserved: No code blocks contained this phrase

Scope

Files updated span multiple documentation areas:

  • Core DataMiner troubleshooting and feature docs
  • DOM (DataMiner Object Model) documentation
  • Protocol schema documentation
  • Release notes across Web apps, DIS, and General releases (multiple versions)
  • DataMiner services change log
  • Visio documentation (reference and tutorials)
Original prompt

Can you create a new pull request in which the word "lower case" is replaced by "lowercase" in all .md files? However, do NOT do this in references or in code blocks.

@copilot , can you check my original prompt, and do exactly the same for "uppercase"?

Done! I've replaced all instances of "upper case" with "uppercase" across the documentation, following the same approach as the original "lower case" → "lowercase" replacement.

Changes made in commit 92eade2:

  • 8 files modified with 9 total replacements
  • All occurrences in regular text, tables, headings, and instructions updated
  • No code blocks contained "upper case" so no exclusions were needed

Validation completed:

  • ✅ Markdown linting: No new issues
  • ✅ docfx build: Succeeded with no new warnings/errors
  • ✅ Code review: No issues found
