End of BP1 milestone. A data storage format will be identified based on the uses cases identified in Task 1, reference datasets collected in Task 2, and benchmark forecasts of Task 4. The data will be indexed, and a library to abstract data access will be developed. Appropriate access control of public and nonpublic data will be implemented. Data will be qualified before storage with the result of Task 3. Data exchange templates establish format and taxonomy for framework users to exchange data with the framework. Templates will accommodate spatial and temporal data indexing. The core framework and web portal will be installed above the systems layer via scripts that are version controlled. Communication between all components of the core framework, web portal, and systems layer will be tested. Testing will use mock forecast provider data, live benchmark forecasts, and live reference data. Alpha release will be created after architecture is validated (Milestone 5.4).
