General

  • Changed "TargetFramework" net9.0 to "TargetFrameworks" net8.0 & net9.0
  • Nuget package updates (Avalonia, Magick.NET-Q8-x64, Microsoft.Data.Sqlite.Core, VideoLAN.LibVLC.Windows)
  • Updated copyright 2011-2026 (still had 2025)

PS5 Library

  • Renamed "Patches" to "Updates & Additional Content"
  • Removed additional CefGlue browser in background
  • Renamed menu option "Open a folder with source PKG files" to "Open a folder with PKG files"
  • Renamed "Check for updates" to "Check for game updates"/"Check for app updates"
  • Renamed "Pack as PS5 PKG" to "Pack as PS5 debug/test PKG"
  • Replaced method to read retail update/additional content/DLCs PKGs into the library
    • This makes it now possible to load a folder with PKGs on Linux, macOS & FreeBSD
  • Updated method to read the title of a backup if no enUS title is available in param.json
  • New context menu option for local games (if /decrypted exists) :
    • Backport selected game
    • Patch a decrypted library
  • New upload context menu option for local games/apps :
    • Upload selected game/app to the console storage or to USB/Extended storage on mnt/usb0-7 or mnt/ext0-1
  • New Uploader to upload local backups to a selected storage device on the PS5
    • Detailed uploader with total progress & current file progress
    • Upload to /data/homebrew , /mnt/usb0-7 or /mnt/ext0-1
    • Supports cancellation by simply closing the window while uploading

PS5 Tools

  • New & Updated Backporting Tool
    • The previously backporting option from the "Make fSELFs" tool has moved to the new backporting tool
    • New option to auto-Patch & fake sign into /fakelib
      • To get this working you will have to place the patchable decrypted SPRX libraries anywhere in the selected folder
      • After backporting it checks the selected SDK & names of available patches and decrypted files to apply it to the correct file and firmware
  • New Payload Dispatcher
    • Send payloads to a specific port after the specified number of seconds
  • New S/PRX ROM Patcher
    • Checks if BPS patch & S/PRX library is valid
    • Apply .bps patches to decrypted S/PRX libraries
    • Try to patch libc for 6.XX
    • Requires latest node.js to be installed before in order to run!
  • New FTP Library Grabber
    • Simply download decrypted SPRX libraries over FTP to PC
    • This method requires the ftpsrv payload to be loaded first on the PS5
    • In some cases this can cause a crash on the PS5 -> Simply retry, already downloaded files will be skipped
  • Updated Port Checker
    • Now also scans for port 50000
  • Updated Y(T)2JB Toolbox
    • It is now possible to manually enter a YouTube title ID

PS4 Tools

  • The new Payload Dispatcher is now also available in the 'Tools' menu

Settings

  • New PS5 FTP Library Settings
    • Load game & app icons (icon0.png) via FTP
    • Load game & app backgrounds (pic0.png) via FTP
    • Scan /mnt/usb2-7 too
    • Scan /mnt/ext0 (currently misses ext1)

Fixes

  • General crash fixes due to wrong async UI updates
  • PS5 Library
    • Configs are now loading & working
    • Fixed a possible crash when reading the game title if no enUS title is available
  • FTP Browser
    • The double click on an item should now trigger better
    • Adjusted some alignments for a better fullsceen view
    • Drag & Drop from the integrated local file explorer does now work
    • Fixed an issue when uploading a file or folder
    • Fixed an issue when renaming a file or folder
  • PKG Info Window
    • Removed debug popup window when reading a PKG
    • Fixed a possible crash when reading retail PS5 PKGs
  • PS5 Payload Builder is now working again (token was missing in previous version)

Still NOT ready or working yet

Warning

  • PSX Tools are not ready yet and need further testing
    • All tools (pfsshell, hdl_dump, ...) and libraries (.so/.dylib) are already available in the ./Tools folder for manual usage
  • Batch Renaming Tool is not ready yet for Linux, FreeBSD and macOS
    • Currently still requires PowerShell and needs an overhaul
  • Emulators to play your loaded backups are not ready yet and will be added in another update
  • PARAM.SFO Editor does not have any functionality yet
