Welcome to the ops wiki! We are soliciting comments and feedback on this pre-release draft. A summary of the current todo-list is recorded here.

All known "holes" are filled and we are now considering topics that would benefit from more attention.

  • Should we add a chapter on Standard Operating Procedures?

  • Should we add a chapter (or appendix) describing Kubernetes in more detail, since so much hinges on its capabilities?

  • Is Section 4.6 a sufficient look at security, or perhaps do we also need to also focus on who is responsible for what (rather than just describe mechanisms)?

  • What is the right way to deal with question of on-boarding 3rd-party edge apps (which also relates to multi-cloud), beyond what's current covered in Section 2.3?

  • Does Section 3.1.4 give sufficient details about provisioning VMs?

  • An example Keycloak or OPA spec (or both) would be helpful in Section 5.2.3.

  • Should we update the models in 5.3 to represent the latest? (Probably not necessary since even dated models are illustrative.)

  • Is there a better example integrated Runtime dashboard (Section 6.3) to show? Is there more to say about the implementation?

  • Should we adopt a design feature that highlights the best practices and design principles?
