π¨ Severity: HIGH
π‘ Vulnerability: Unbounded queue growth in
AsyncLoggerallowed memory exhaustion (DoS) if logging was spammed (e.g., from a tight render loop).π― Impact: Application crash due to OOM (Out Of Memory) if the producer outpaces the consumer thread.
π§ Fix: Implemented a
MAX_QUEUE_SIZE(10,000) and logic to drop messages when full, with a one-time warning tostd::cerr.β Verification: Verified with
tests/test_logger.cpp(functional) andtests/test_logger_stress.cpp(triggered overflow warning without crash).PR created automatically by Jules for task 7586666441323828573 started by @TECHNICANGEL
