Have you ever wanted to throw stuff down somewhere without it spilling all over the place? Here is your solution: Chutes! Throw anything into a chute and it will safely exit below. Also works with hoppers, pipes and the likes - and even with fluids!

This is machine using basic Chute Mechanics. Any item or fluid pumped into it will be pushed out the bottom immediately, with no delay. Items lying on top of it will be considered as well, as long as the cute is not obstructed by a solid block or another chute. If there is no inventory below the chute, items will be dropped into the world if there is air or a liquid. Fluids will not be emitted into the world. Items can only enter from the top, fluids can be pumped into any side other than the bottom.
