Description

Sets up a second DB connection string and factory in the application for use in read-only queries. Targets this connection for report data services.

NOTE: The second, read-only connection can be any DLS DB so can be the same as the transactional DB for development purposes. Environment variables have been added to the web server to target the production Azure SQL DB replica. This means that the UAT reports will display production data (unless these variables are changed).
