Plains Plateau
The Plains Plateau is basically a Plains biome at a higher elevation. The biome is bordered by the Rocky Edge biome:
The Rocky Edge biome transitions the height between the Plains Plateau and other biomes. Its height is substantially lower and is surfaced with Stone and boulders.
The Wooded Plateau is a forest-like version of the Plains Plateau. The height is consistent with it, as is the grass color (unlike a Forest).
The Plains Plateau generates rarely in dry climates, half as often as Plains in cool climates, and a little less than half as often as Plains in temperate climates. It generates in 3 parts:
- Plains Plateau (
traverse:plains_plateau): the high plateau base - Rocky Edge (
traverse:rocky_edge): edges the Plains Plateau to transition to lower grounds easier, and also provides visual contrast in color and form. - Wooded Plateau (
traverse:wooded_plateau): a variant of the Plains Plateau with forest features
The Plains Plateau biome is similar in climate to a Plains biome.
