Thanasarn Changnawa is a Ph.D. student in Architecture at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a member of the Sustainable Urban Systems Lab and the High-Performance Building Lab, working under the supervision of Professor Patrick Kastner. His research focuses on sustainable design through digital technologies, including Building Information Modeling (BIM), building simulation, energy modeling, design computation, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML). His current work explores how AI and computational tools can optimize energy-efficient building design and enhance urban microclimate quality to support sustainable urban development.

Currently, Thanasarn is a lecturer in architecture at Naresuan University, Thailand. His M.S. and Ph.D. studies are funded by the prestigious Royal Thai Government Scholarship. He holds a Master of Science in Architecture from Texas A&M University, USA, a Master of Architecture from Naresuan University, and a Bachelor of Science majoring in Architecture from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology, Thailand.
