Workspace Setup ROS1

On Ubuntu 20.04 execute:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo ./bootstrap.sh

Running The Simulation

The simulation is divided over a host virtual machine and many workers. The host is supposed to be GPU accelerated workers requires no specific hardware. X86 is the only supported and benchmarked CPU architecture. Follow the previous section to setup both the host and workers.

sudo ./start_kafka_simulation.sh #Host VM Running Kafka-RICO simulation
sudo ./start_ros_sim.sh #Host VM running ROS-Gazebo simulation
sudo ./start_ros_control.sh #Workers, each worker spawn and control one UR5 robot
