At the moment both codebases need to be updated to stay in sync. It would be better to add the missing Generals features to the Zero Hour codebase and then make a Generals mod for Zero Hour. This is something we had issues with adding Red Alert 2 support next Yuri's Revenge support to CnCNet. The games are two seperate EXEs and we had to maintain two different code bases for the patches. So we just dumped the RA2 code and continued with the YR patches and made a RA2 Mode mod for YR.
