We often get asked about our current progress when people first join Transit Talk. For your easy reference, he's a current overview of what the live app can do.
Transit Talk Features
With a little bit of setup, Transit Talk automatically imports and organizes information about the stations and lines of any transit system that uses GTFS data.
Transit Talk requests the location of its users, allowing them to get information about issues reported close to them. It also allows users to opt out if they don't want to share location information.
Users can browse through available transit lines, including visualizations of transfer points with other lines.
Issues can be reported by selecting a station. The issue reporting form includes the ability to designate a general category, and to include an optional free text description of the issue, as well.
To view issues, users can visit the page for a line or for a station. They can browse through the reported times, locations, and descriptions of each issue.
