Gameplay
Your objective is to progress the game by solving all the puzzles, one at the time.
The goal of each puzzle is to get to an unreachable place (e.g., a suspended platform). In order to do this you have to activate the NoclipMode, which lets you transcend your own body and move freely in every direction, clipping through walls and defying gravity. This will allow you to gather that knowledge of the level which would not be visible otherwise, spotting invisible bridges and platforms, hidden holes in the ground, secret shortcuts, etc… Once you are back to your body, if you manage to remember the invisible path you discovered in NoclipMode, you can reach your goal. But you must hurry, because you have only a short amount of time to execute your platforming. Your time will be fully recovered at checkpoints.
| Key features | Why is it fun? |
|---|---|
| NoclipMode | the pleasure of curiosity and discovery is reached by switching between two different but complementary gameplay dimensions |
| Unconventional level design | since the game lets you see 100% of the level, the challenge is all about spatial memory. Finding patterns and elaborating solutions become new experimental ways of playing |
| Meta-narrative | the gap between game and reality becomes narrower and narrower as you keep playing. You will be surprised not only in the game experience, but also in the meta-game experience |
The game has a minimalistic approach.
| All in first-person, no cut-scenes, no forced scripted events. You are always in control of the avatar. |
| No maps or minimaps |
| No experience points or collectibles |
| No enemies |
