Eventdisplay v490 is a significant update with many changes compared to previous version. This repository contains analysis files required for the the v490-based analysis.

The usage of Eventdisplay requires code, scripts, and analysis files. For this release, the corresponding repositories are:

Changes:

  • improved BDT-based gamma/hadron separation cuts; BDT XML files are available per epoch in this directory
  • new AP cleaning run parameter definition EVNDISP.reconstruction.runparameter.AP.v4x
  • new cluster cleaning cleaning run parameter definition EVNDISP.reconstruction.runparameter.CC.v4x (for testing)
  • AP cleaning is set as default image cleaning method
  • increase of core distance cut to 400 m for all gamma/hadron cut definitions
  • updated L2 channel definition for runs after run 103020
  • added UV IRFs to up- and download scripts
  • general change of version numbers to v490
  • addition of dispBDT functionality including corresponding XML files
  • change EPOCHs to dates; alignment of periods with winter/summer in #35
  • addition of lists for summer and winter epochs (IRF_EPOCHS_SUMMER.dat and IRF_EPOCHS_WINTER.dat)
  • addition of lists of relevant gamma/hadron cuts (IRF_GAMMAHADRONCUTS.dat, IRF_GAMMAHADRONCUTS.dat_RedHV)
  • homogeneous cut definitions
  • moderate cut size cut is 400 (was 600)
  • consistent naming of directories without snakecase
  • add V6_2022_2022s IRFs
  • improved definitions of energy and zenith bins for TMVA BDT training
  • fix of epoch definition for 2023 May (fixes issue #42)
