Quba 1.5.0, released June 2nd, 2025, now also supports ZUGFeRD 1 invoices and brings a search, and a manual.

Further small corrections are mentioned in the "history" section of the readme.

Quba is a reader software for electronic invoices (XRechnung, Factur-X/ZUGFeRD,
PDF, Order-X, CII or UBL).

It runs offline, is open-source and can be downloaded for free for Linux, Mac, and
Windows from it's website .

Version 1.4.1 yesterday had a regression (#82 Drag&Drop does not work) and a race condition (#54 print only prints first page) which has
now been corrected, addtionally to #83 NaN for VAT amount and rounding amount.

This corrected version 1.4.2 of our open-source e-invoice reader "Quba" should be sufficient to get you into the next year, the next regular update is only planned for Q1/2025.

This release works also on intel macs (#23) and print works again (#54). Additionally, the language is now set to system default upon installation (#78), it also works with XML which is embedded as file list (#68), Electron has been upgraded from v20 to v33 (#58), there is now also a MSI installer for windows (#53) and the license is now stated in the about window (#63).

Quba is a invoice viewer supporting Peppol-, CII-, UBL-, XRechnung- and Factur-X/ZUGFeRD.

Through sponsorship of the new version 1.4 can now also display orders in the Order-X-format.

The XML part of hybrid invoices and orders is now also shown immediately next to the PDF-view.

The removal of the "extra click" which was so far neccessary for this purpose has been removed as part of the preparation for the planned mandatory german domestic B2B-e-invoicing.

Quba is open source, can also validate invoices and orders using Mustangserver when online and can be downloaded free of charge for Linux, Windows and Mac.

Support UBL credit notes

Apart from the usual credit note type in invoice documents, still the only way how credit notes are done in CII, this release now also supports the dedicated UBL credit note root element (#24). Plus Quba now works better when attempting to open multiple files from outside the application (#25).
