I'm holding off on an initial version because I'm actively annoyed by the first draft of how basically everything is named (this includes many choices about the command-line, Nix, and env APIs made at different times, with a focus on making fast decisions rather than good/consistent ones). I intend to squeeze in a few more distinct features that don't square well with the existing naming conventions before doing the name-QC audit because I think they'll make it easier to discriminate between robust/fragile naming systems.
