What I'm Into

When I'm not arguing with the compiler, I spend most of my time thinking about:

  • Performance Optimization – Finding those microseconds that matter and eliminating bottlenecks
  • High-Performance Computing (HPC) – Parallel computing, distributed heterogeneous systems, and squeezing every bit of performance out of hardware
  • Programming Language Implementation – Designing languages is easier than agreeing on tabs vs spaces
  • Compiler Development – Transforming high-level code into efficient machine instructions
