@Azax4 @weissenh if you two want to review each other's work and then merge on your own, that'd be great. Just please make sure to do "squash merge" and clean up the commit, removing all the unnecessary intermediate commits, and ensuring that you retain "closing" etc tags.

I'd be up for it, but would like to know more about @Azax4's workload and availability to align expectations between us two on when a review or reply from the other person can be expected. Maybe we can coordinate this in a private channel like e-mail?
@Azax4 if you agree @mjpost could connect us? (I don't have your e-mail address and as I too try to keep mine private on GitHub I guess Matt has to connect us or am I missing something?)

I'm happy to do so and discuss this further in the private channel. I'm there in the Mattermost server under the same username (Cannot think of a more appropriate channel without making my email public)

@Azax4 I wasn't aware of a Mattermost server, and I don't know how to get access to it. Is it https://mattermost.aclweb.org/login ? If this requires paying ACL membership fee for this or next calendar year I'd like to kindly ask whether there is another way (I am not an ACL member right now nor am I planning to become one, as I am not going to attend any conferences, so I don't see a reason to pay 50-100$)

@weissenh Just invited you. Membership isn't required and anyway we would not ask you to pay!

Interestingly the PDF mentions as affiliation not USC but Fudan University (where the person was before according to their OpenReview profile as mentioned by the issue submitter)

https://preview.aclanthology.org/author-page-yuqing-yang-usc/people/yuqing-yang-usc/

  • Lists exactly the 7 papers mentioned by the issue submitter as theirs on separate page, others left in catch-all
  • degree institution / note for catch-all visible in preview
  • didn't spot any xml problems, no other open issues for this name, didn't spot any need for additional variants of the name

LGTM

I suggest to send the following (or a similar) message to issue submitter:

You have mentioned your OpenReview profile and I've seen it doesn't contain your ORCID. The ACL Anthology link mentioned on your profile needs to be updated to your new author page ( https://aclanthology.org/people/yuqing-yang-usc/ , new suffix -usc!) too. To make mapping of future papers of yours to your author page easier, please mention your ORCID on conference submission forms whereever possible. Thank you!
