Guideline to upload opening slides

Here is a guideline to upload your opening slides to this repo.

Following these steps, you will be able to create a pull request to upload your opening slides to this repo.

Requirements

1. A GitHub account
2. A web browser

Steps

1. Make sure you have logged in to GitHub
2. Fork this repo if you have not: open https://github.com/acmsigsoft/acmsigsoft.github.io, and then click the fork button. On the next page, use the default setting and then click Create fork button. Wait a few minutes, until your fork is displayed.
3. Go to the content folder, then openingslide folder.
4. Click the Add file button in the top-right corner. In the drop-down menu, click upload files.
5. Please rename your file similair to icse2025opening.pdf, then drop the file into the dialog.
6. After the file is uploaded, click the green button Commit Changes at the bottom.
7. You will be redirected to the home page, and there is a line saying something like This branch is 1 commit ahead of acmsigsoft/acmsigsoft.github.io:main.. Click the button on the right, Contribute -> Open pull request
8. You will be redirected to a new page to create a pull request. Just fill in the title and then click the button "Create pull request".
9. In the top-right corner, you may choose me (yqtianust) as the reviewer. I will review and approve the update asap.
