This removes the majority of the root level gitignore (which had a combined node/pythong/dart/go/kotlin/java setup from gitignore.io) and puts them into their relevant folders
I basically ran
gitignore python
in each python dir andgitignore node
in every typescript dir, and cleaned up existing ones.It's possible (more than just possible it is for sure) overkill. Not each little subpackage needs a node gitignore, this can certainly be made more minimal, but the my experience consistency makes it easier to navigate
