Master’s in Computer Science @ UC Davis | Exploring AI, Distributed Systems & Scalable Computing through Code 🚀

Hi, I’m Ajinkya Gothankar, a Master’s student in Computer Science at UC Davis, where I dive deep into AI, distributed systems, and scalable computing—basically, making machines smarter and systems faster. Before this, I was an Associate Consultant at Oracle Financial Services, building Java-based APIs and automating PL/SQL operations (because life’s too short for manual queries).

I love building cool things! Some of my projects include ResShare, a decentralized file-sharing platform; a Hybrid ViT-CNN model that spots AI-generated faces; FAMFS enhancements, where I tinker with shared-memory file systems; and research on LLMs for software engineering surveys, where I see if AI can think like developers. And that’s just a teaser—I’ve got more projects, more ideas, and more code in the works!
