This dataset provides the mapping of organizations and funders from the IS VaVaI (the national CRIS in Czechia) to ROR, the international Research Organization Registry.
The IS VaVaI tracks organizations that received funding for research, technology development and innovation from public budgets in Czechia or that have participated in such funded projects. Also the funders of these projects are registered.
This dataset is intended to help put the research information collected in the IS VaVaI into an international context.
It is part of the activities of the Working Group for Research Data Management in the Czech Republic.
2022-06-18: 178 organizations: added most of the organizations from the CEA-prijemce.csv found at the IS VaVaI Open Data site. The file contains beneficiaries of block funding based on the status of Research Organization since 2010. The missing organizations are listed in organizations-wanted.csv.
2022-06-18: add the 38 funders from the IS VaVaI (24 have a ROR id, 12 have a FundRef id)
2022-06-18: update the ROR names in our file with those from API following the ROR 1.1 release
2022-06-03: replace "... of the CAS" with "... of the Czech Academy of Sciences" in the English override names
2022-01-20: 112 organizations:
- All the 26 public universities, one military university and one state university are covered. These are the organizations listed in Annexes 1 and 2 of the Higher Education Act of the Czech Republic.
