The implementation is based on interpreting 7.4.66: ऋवर्णान्तस्य अभ्यासस्य अकारादेशो भवति as "ऋ" being at the end of the Abhyasa. For dhatus like मृज् , नृत् etc. this implementation depends on having to go loop until the "abhyasa" value converges. Note that 7.4.60 appears twice.

Alternatively if interpreted as "ऋ" being anywhere in the abhyasa then the prakriya could look
as below. Although this is programmatically simpler it was discarded due to lack of validation against an
existing text/commentary.
