[BUG] Receiving Notification But no Alert

Describe the bug
I have the docker container up and running. Logs show the notification is being received but no alerts on my phone
Language of description allowed: English

Expected behavior
I expect a push notification when the app receives a message

Additional context
I’ve checked to make sure none of the settings on my iPhone itself are preventing the alerts. This does not seem to be the issue.

you didn't passed the NTFY token via Environment variables to the container!

the container get the notification from gotify and can't send it to the service without the NTFY-Device token.

you have configured a local instance.

please take a look in the users.db if there a any entries and if they are correct

It looks like my device token has two client tokens for some reason. is that normal?

how many clients do you registered?

every client that registered on the same device get the same token.

eg. if you have two users in gotify and register all two user instances on the same device the devicetoken would be the same.

if you only have one you can delete one.

I have the same problem. Several days it goes, then suddenly I no longer receive notifications on my iPhone without having made a change on the phone or on the server. The messages themselves arrive when you actively look in the app.

It has already helped twice to delete the app on the iPhone and the instance on the server. Until now, I thought it was just a „one-time appearance“.

Do you mean the „Application Token“ (have several „Apps“ at Gotify) which has 15 characters and is to be copied in the Gotify GUI?

I didn’t know there was a limit?! That could explain it... can you change the limit?

Settings > Development Section > notification token

It's starts with NTFY-Device-XXXX

I once restarted Docker or iGotify, now it works again? Is that normal? ☺️
