Use the following grammar to search for tracks.

dj <title> [by <artist>] [from <album>]

Sometimes a title/artist/album contains reserved words (e.g. by, from). Enclose the term with quotes to help DJ parse such expressions.

dj 'stand by me' by ben e king

If DJ still can't parse your query, use --track, --artist, or --album. Remember to use your shell's quoting rules.

dj --track 'stand by me' --artist 'ben e king'

or

dj --track='stand by me' --artist='ben e king'
