This is the third release of WinPath. Here are the main highlights:

  • Backup command
    • Backup list command
    • Backup apply command
    • Backup create command
    • Backup remove command
  • Faster performance and better stability
  • Lower application size
  • And, as always, we've also had some bug fixes

Installation

Please note that this release contains breaking changes and you're going to have to install it manually.

If you have WinPath already installed, run winpath update --prerelease --confirm and you should be good to go.

You do not ever need to download WinPath.Updater executables, those are for use by the update command to update and cannot directly be used to update WinPath.

You have to download WinPath_win-<arch> or WinPath_win10-x64 if you are on Windows 10 64-bit.

win-<arch> builds work for Windows 7 and above, they are portable.
win10-x64 specifically works on Windows 10 x64 computers.
