Issue:
The current Open Graph metadata implementation on the website is missing images in social media previews. This happens because the internal Hugo template does not correctly pick up the site-wide default image or fallback logic
Changes I made:
I replaced the default internal Hugo template with a custom solution that gives us much better control over our social media previews.
Specifically, I implemented a robust image fallback system:
First, it checks if the page has a specific image defined.
If not, it automatically falls back to the site-wide default image instead of showing a blank card.
I also made sure all image links are absolute URLs so platforms like X (Twitter) and LinkedIn can correctly display them and enabled the "large image" card format to make our links look better in feeds.
This PR resolves issue #307
