It doesn't seem like this option is documented. However, Snowflake supports it, and we see such queries "in the wild."
Syntax:
CREATE TABLE ... ON COMMIT PRESERVE ROWSCREATE TABLE ... ON COMMIT DELETE ROWSCREATE TABLE ... ON COMMIT DROP
