Should we mention that this is the planed last release for Java 8, and the next release will require Java 17？

Should we mention that this is the planed last release for Java 8, and the next release will require Java 17？

This is not the last release supporting Java 8. There will be more 1.x releases.
There are ASF rules that require us to discuss releases on the mailing list.
If anyone is really interested in what is going on with the releases, they should join the Pekko dev list.
