Rationale: a weird wakelock some people think is related to cameras, but this fact hasn`t been proven. [MIPI](http://www.mipi.org/) is an alliance promoting interface specifications for mobile devices. So there`s a guess it could be held by some chip, produced by MIPI (their site tells something about some [application processors](http://www.mipi.org/about-mipi/frequently-asked-questions#t8), for example), and communicating with some other hardware (the wireless modem, maybe) via some link.
Know actions: the only one action to eliminate this is the airplane mode.
Known conditions of occurence: Notwithstanding wifi is on/off, mobile data is on/off, sync is on/off, 3g or 2g only, there is a sim-card in the phone or there isn`t, the counter goes up. Gtalk, Gmail, Facebook, Skype, Gallery do not have any influence, they all could be frozen or uninstalled, no matter, the wakelock is present.
