ETH Video Speed Control

A lightweight Chrome Extension that adds 3x and 4x playback speed options to the ETH Zurich Video Portal (Paella Player).

Features

• Adds "3x" and "4x" options to the standard speed menu.

• Automatically moves the menu up so buttons aren't cut off in fullscreen, and buttons inherit the style of the existing player.

• Only runs when the menu is opened.

Installation

1. Download and unzip the extension files (manifest.json and content.js) into a folder.

2. Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions.

3. Toggle Developer mode on (top right corner).

4. Click Load unpacked (top left).

5. Select the folder containing the files.

Usage

1. Go to video.ethz.ch.
2. Open any lecture.
3. Click the playback speed button (e.g., "1x").
4. Select 3x or 4x from the list.
