I am Aviral Pathak, a Computer Science undergraduate at IIIT Agartala , specializing in advanced C++ systems programming, low-latency software, and competitive programming. I have solved 500+ problems on LeetCode (Rating: 1860) and hold a Codeforces rating of 1159, demonstrating strong algorithmic thinking and problem-solving ability.
My core strength lies in building performance-critical systems in C++, including a custom database engine (VelocityDB) with file-based storage, page management, and optimized CRUD operations, as well as an end-to-end encrypted multithreaded chat application using TCP sockets, OpenSSL (TLS), and concurrent programming. I also have hands-on experience with Boost.Asio, async I/O, memory optimization, cache-friendly design, and modern C++ (C++11–20).
Beyond systems programming, I have industry experience as a Software Design Intern at AWDH Technology, where I delivered a production-grade full-stack application and led a team of interns. I have won multiple hackathons including the Saras AI Hackathon, qualified for Meta Hacker Cup 2025 Round 2, and earned an Oracle digital certification badge.
I am deeply interested in low-latency systems, networking, databases, and quantitative/HFT-oriented software engineering, and I aim to build scalable, efficient systems that operate at microsecond-level performance.
