1. Fix karaoke mode's glitchey animations! After a whole year! (This was very noticeable when using the multilingual view)
2. We avoid re-opening Spotify if you quit it while keeping Lyric Fever open
3. Fix bug where sometimes Lyric Fever was unpausing a song shortly after pausing it (more visible when using Spotify Connect)
4. improve color generation for non-Spotify lyrics (try refreshing lyrics to improve the color for a cached song)
5. Improve menubar view on light mode (looks much much better!)
6. Fix a bug that would sometimes cause a crash when applying lyrics from the search window
7. Change default lyric view to karaoke & default to only showing icon in menubar (saving space)
8. It's now possible to drag album art from the menubar view to share the song link
9. Fix album art flickering when skipping through songs in the same album
10. It's now possible to hit ESC to hide the selected lyrics in the search window, searching hides the stale selected lyrics view
11. Fixed Spotify login for some users

NOTE: I really wanted to get a lot more bug fixes / features in before releasing an update but I just haven't found the time :/ the next things on the horizon are: letting Apple Music users disable the Spotify song matching for all songs / undo it for a single song, proxy support, some other Apple Music fixes, fixing a memory leak with the chinese conversion,

Using new system to decode spotify secrets (previous project spotify-secrets received a cease and desist)
Using workaround to present Apple Music artwork. It is buggy. Hopefully Apple fixes AppleScript support in 26.1 and I can remove this workaround asap.

3.1: New translation settings & global keyboard shortcuts

New source language setting on a per song basis: Lyric Fever remembers if you have set a specific override. Pick this if a specifci song's source language could not properly be detected.

New target language setting on an all-song basis: Lyric Fever remembers what language you want to translate to. The default behavior is to try to translate to the system language.

New chinese specific behavior: can convert between Simplified, Traditional (Neutral), Traditional (HK), traditional (taiwan)

Version 3: Code restructure, fixes and a new menubar window

Thank you everyone for waiting through the summer for an update.

Fixes:

• Spotify lyrics fetching is fixed
• Complete restructuring of internal code. Fewer bugs and easy to extend in the future (I'm thinking of adding QQMusic support next release)
• Apple Music support added back! Not only can Apple Music users use Spotify lyrics, I also use Spotify song details (such as "Ame No Minuet" on Apple Music becoming "雨のメヌエット", helping us get accurate NetEase lyrics)
• The app goes through a list of lyric providers, so if one of them fails it tries fetching from the next one
• New manual search window where you can input a custom song name or artist name
• New menubar window view. easy to use buttons and a much better UI than before
• New AirPlay delay mode
• Can use sliders to adjust Spotify/Apple Music volume, as well as menubar size, as well as the Spotify connect delay time
• karaoke window doesn't display translation if multilingual setting is on and translation is a duplicate line

There's a lot of bug fixes in this one! Many minor improvements. The stable Spotify connection is probably the most important so you can always receive the best quality lyrics. The karaoke color improvement is my 2nd favorite fix I've added this cycle.
