LocalCoinSwap is a non-custodial P2P marketplace that aligns with Bitcoin’s core values of self-sovereignty. It has been live since 2018.

Review Criteria Compliance:

• Site Functionality: Fully operational P2P marketplace with localized support for 300+ payment methods and 100+ countries.
• Operational Processes: Non-custodial escrow system using Bitcoin scripts. Funds move directly from seller to buyer via secure escrow without the platform ever holding private keys.
• Rates and Fees: Transparent 1% fee for offer creators (makers) and 0% fee for those responding to offers (takers). Standard network fees apply for withdrawals.
• Order Book: Active global liquidity with thousands of active trade offers across all major fiat currencies.
• Policies/T&C: Clear Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• Press and Community: Active community presence on Telegram, X and Reddit
• Leadership: Transparent core team led by Nathan Worsley (CTO) and Daniel Worsley (COO).
