Improve profile state management and add recap tool

Proposed change

• Improve profile state management so we know the current active profile as well as when previous profiles were last active, making it easier to understand time ranges when someone was away and then returned for example
• Provide the profile information in a tool along with a new recap tool so that questions like "what happened while I was away?" can be answered by GenAI
