Numpy 2.x as a strict requirement?

Is there anything in code base that depends on numpy 2.x?
I know that probably the whole industry will move towards 2.x in few moths, but right know we still have few packages that specify "numpy < 2" and prevents from pydantic-numpy upgrade.
Wondering what's your take on it and recommendation?

The typing system in numpy 2 is incompatible with numpy 1 from the pydantic-numpy perspective. Numpy 2 is also faster than 1, I would upgrade unless upgrading is a major issue.
