It looks like we need to wait a bit longer to get CLDT registration setup in pretix. When that is ready it will provide a list of upcoming events and a way for people to register for them witha registration code (similar to how registration is handled for Instructor Training).

As a stopgap for the time-being, this PR adds a Training Calendar page similar to the one for Instructor Training, listing upcoming events and providing some basic info about the training and how to join it. As I understand it, that additional info is primarily there for folks who find their way to the training curriculum and want to learn more about how to participate in the program.

The page will be removed again when we have events listed and registrations handled in pretix.

  • ❓ new warnings
  • ‼️ new errors

Rendered Changes

🔍 Inspect the changes: https://github.com/carpentries/lesson-development-training/compare/md-outputs..md-outputs-PR-552

The following changes were observed in the rendered markdown documents:

 index.md   | 8 ++++++++
 md5sum.txt | 2 +-
 2 files changed, 9 insertions(+), 1 deletion(-)
What does this mean?

If you have source files that require output and figures to be generated (e.g. R Markdown), then it is important to make sure the generated figures and output are reproducible.

This output provides a way for you to inspect the output in a diff-friendly manner so that it's easy to see the changes that occur due to new software versions or randomisation.
