Can you rebase this on #495 and target that branch instead? |
We don't need to pass `-jvm-default=no-compatibility` instead.

* Bump minimum-supported Gradle version to 9 This allows us to use Kotlin 2.2 and Java 17. The forthcoming Kotlin 2.3.0 will no longer support compiling to 1.8, so we must bump. * Switch JVM default flag to NO_COMPATIBILITY (#496) We don't need to pass `-jvm-default=no-compatibility` instead. --------- Co-authored-by: Zongle Wang <wangzongler@gmail.com>
