Introduction

The Catalyst Access Insights Platform (AIP) is an open access, interactive, online platform that allows users to better understand energy access technology and coverage. The first version focusses on Kenya. The platform becomes a single window to easily analyse and identify investment opportunities. The platform allows users to overlay over 42 different layers ranging from core datasets like population, high-voltage grid to county level census information.

AIP is developed by Catalyst Off-grid Advisors. Catalyst Off-Grid Advisors is a boutique consultancy focused on helping its clients tackle the global energy access deficit. We bring together the skills of a wide array of energy, strategy, and finance specialists with decades of combined energy access experience.
