What's New

• New Feature: Load Module 📥
  Introducing the Load Module, a powerful addition to GoSec that simplifies the process of importing passwords from a text file into your password database. With this feature, you can now bulk-import passwords with a single click. Use the provided template to structure your password file correctly and effortlessly load your passwords into the database.

• Enhanced GOARG Module 🔧
  We've made significant updates to our custom GOARG module, improving its functionality and making it even more user-friendly. These updates include optimizations and refinements that enhance the overall experience of parsing command line arguments, making your interactions with GoSec smoother than ever before.

How to Update

1. Download the Latest Release 🚀
   Head over to the Releases section and download the latest version of GoSec v2.0.

2. Upgrade GOARG Module ⚙️
   With the new release, we have also updated the GOARG module to provide you with an enhanced command line argument parsing experience. Please review the updated documentation to familiarize yourself with any changes in how arguments are handled.

3. Enjoy Enhanced Password Management 🔐
   Once you've updated to GoSec v2.0, you can take advantage of the new Load Module to import passwords seamlessly. As always, your password management experience is now even more secure and user-focused.

Latest Release: v1.1.0

This release comes with exciting enhancements, including a new settings table and a simplified master key setup.

Highlights

• New Feature: Introducing a dedicated settings table that securely stores project configuration.
• Enhancement: Simplified setup for the master key. It will now be prompted during the initial project launch and won't be asked again.
• Database Path: The database will now be automatically created at C:\Users\<username>\gosecDB on Windows and is Linux-compatible as well.

Why Publicize the Master Key?

We understand that developers working on their own projects built on top of this repository might need access to the master key. Without it, developing custom projects could be challenging. Hence, we've made the master key public within this project. This approach aims to facilitate the process of building on top of our codebase.

Important Notes

• With the introduction of the settings table, you can now manage project configurations more efficiently.
• During the initial project launch, the master key will be required. Subsequently, you won't be prompted for it again.
• The database will be automatically created at C:\Users\<username>\gosecDB on Windows, ensuring compatibility with Linux environments as well.
