I completed my Lesson 03 homework by adding a new quiz file with three unanswered questions to tobais_evans_quiz.ts and updating quizzes.module.ts to include it.

I encountered some small challenges, but worked through them and confirmed my changes were stages, committed, pushed, and ready for review.

Problem area(s):

  • Understanding why my local VS Code branch wasn't showing new branches from GitHub
  • Forgetting to save files before staging and committing changes

Lessons learned:

  • Always save changes before running git add
  • Use git fetch to ensure local branches match remote branches
  • Check git status regularly to confirm what's staged and what's not

🎓 Automated Grading Report

Student: Tobais Evans
Date: 8/14/2025

Feedback

The submission includes three quiz questions, but there are areas for improvement. Functionally, two questions are relevant to the required topics: one about Git and another about programming languages. However, the third question on HTML tags does not align with the specified topics of git, coding, GitHub, or basic computer architecture. Additionally, none of the questions have a correct answer specified, as all are marked with 'UNANSWERED', which means it's not possible for someone to provide the correct answer choice. Grammatically, the questions and answers are well-constructed. Technically, the student created a new quiz file and registered it in the quizzes.module.ts file, which is correct. However, the answers are not encrypted using the bcrypt algorithm as required, and there is no configuration in the quiz.yaml file. To improve, ensure all questions are relevant to the specified topics, provide correct answers, and complete the encryption and configuration requirements.

This is an automated preliminary review. Please review and adjust before finalizing.

Made changes to the repository.

VS Code kept giving errors due to the way my name is spelled. It's spelled differently 'Tobais' and VS read it as 'Tobias', which is the correct way to spell it. That took me time to solve but I eneded up changing my name tp pass the npm test.

Don't know why you have a bunch of extra file changes, but you should only have changes to tobias_evans_quiz.ts, quizzes.module.ts, and quiz.yaml. Everything else should be reverted.
